Sponsorship
At Hummingbird Group, we believe strong communities build a stronger future. Through our Community Sponsorship Programme, we proudly support schools, sports clubs, charities, community organisations, and initiatives that inspire, educate, and bring people together across New Zealand.
Each year, we dedicate a portion of our resources to sponsoring programmes that create meaningful, lasting impact. Funding is available through an application process and is subject to eligibility criteria, sponsorship terms, and annual funding limits. Allowing us to support as many worthwhile initiatives as possible.
We are proud to have sponsored a wide range of sporting events and community programmes throughout New Zealand. Explore some of the organisations and events we’ve had the privilege to support below.

The Hummingbird team have supported Blake over the last few years in his optimist dingy sailing. Oved this time Blake has three times made the NZ team (top 5 in the country) and traveled to the World Champs in Argentina 2024 & Slovenia 2025.
Along with the international travel, Blake has traveled around the country to compete. Anthony has dropped in to a number of Auckland regattas to support Blake on his journey. All of this has been made possible with the generous support of Anthony, Tony & the Hummingbird team. We cant thank the team enough for their ongoing support.
GodZone 2025 - Hummingbird Team
Team Hummingbird was formed in 2025 after meeting Anthony and Tony at a work function. Through that connection, Hummingbird sponsored our entry into GodZone, an international endurance race held here in New Zealand. We were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent our home against athletes from around the world. We can’t thank Hummingbird enough for their support and for making this experience possible. - Will, Joe, Georgia and Nick
